SCANEA is a digital beauty and product-analysis tool.

Its purpose is simple: to help users identify products that may work against their beauty and products that may support their beauty.

SCANEA analyzes available information about products and their ingredients and provides an assessment intended to help users make more informed choices about the products they consume.

SCANEA is based on the principle that the products a person regularly consumes may influence their appearance, skin, physical presentation, and the way they age.

SCANEA is designed to help users recognize products that may be less supportive of their beauty goals and products that may be more supportive of those goals.

SCANEA may provide a score, rating, classification, explanation, or other assessment of a product.

Product formulations, ingredients, quantities, manufacturing processes, labels, and other product information may change over time.

SCANEA therefore cannot guarantee that every product assessment will always contain complete, current, or error-free information.

Users should check the product's current packaging and ingredient list when making purchasing or consumption decisions.

SCANEA is not a medical service, healthcare provider, diagnostic service, medical device, or substitute for professional medical advice.

SCANEA and its original content, software, design, branding, logos, trademarks, databases, scoring methodology, text, graphics, interfaces, and other materials are owned by or licensed to the SCANEA operator and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, scrape, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from SCANEA or its proprietary systems without prior written permission, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

SCANEA is not necessarily affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the manufacturers or sellers of those products.

Product names, trademarks, logos, and other third-party intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

SCANEA does not guarantee the quality, safety, authenticity, manufacturing practices, or performance of any third-party product.

We aim to keep SCANEA available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted, available, secure, or error-free.

SCANEA may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, internet failures, third-party services, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

• every SCANEA score is accurate;

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SCANEA and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses arising from your use of the Service.

If SCANEA allows users to submit information, reviews, comments, photographs, product information, or other content, you remain responsible for the content you submit.

You must have the necessary rights to submit such content.

You must not submit unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, abusive, infringing, or otherwise prohibited content.

Where necessary to operate SCANEA, you grant SCANEA a non-exclusive license to use, store, reproduce, process, and display submitted content for the purposes of providing and improving the Service, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

Your use of SCANEA may involve the processing of personal information.
